1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? - Hot Chocolate for Me -even better, peppermint hot chocolate....Egg Nog for Boys.

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? --Our Santa wraps them!!

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? ---- the fun, multi coloured lights are better suited for Olgas family:)

4. Do you hang mistletoe? - YES! what an excuse to give a BIG smooch :P

5. When do you put your decorations up?-- Usually we put our tree/lights and all other xmas decoration on the first week of November! And i do not take anything down until February :)

6. What is your favorite holiday dish? - My favorite holiday dish...so many to choose from...i would say my cheesy potato casserole and yams...BUT I love trying new things... really can’t think of one favorite

7. Favorite Holiday memorys a child ?--- hmmm...thats a tough one:) I remember me and sister waking up very very early and go to a nicely decorated living room filled with tons of gifts/toys/dolls! We would then drive to my grandparents house and have a BIG family lunch and dinner together..lotsa family-my mom has 16 cousins! /kids running around/gifts/food/no eggnog in russia:) and no its not a xmas day( we didnt celebrate it back there) its a new years im talking about!

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? what truth??? ;)...Santa does exist!

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? --NEVER!!!...maybe one:P..and cant fall asleep all night becouse of all this anticipation!!!

10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? ---lotsa lights first!!Then i put my star up top and im the one who does that!:) Next would be all my xmas decorations/ornaments - 2 of them are very important for me - it has a year on it when i had my 2 baby boys ...finally i put the garlands/xmas tree skirt and a santa claus under the tree!!

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? --love it ...enjoy it very much especially when its christmas!

12. Can you ice skate? -- Yes! basic is easy

13. Do you remember your favorite gift? --all gifts are my favorite ones

14. What's the most important thing? ---family of course, my friends they are my family too, giving and receiving(its a fun part too :P), loving, watch my boys when they open their gifts and seeing their reaction :)...

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? i like pecan pie

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?--make yummy cookies and put it under the tree for santa!!!also some milk and maybe even chocolate for santa!/ Stuffing the stockings for my kids after they go to sleep

17. What tops your tree? i bought a star few years ago...nothing fancy ..

18. Which do you prefer giving or Receiving? --BOTH!!! I like giving ...but, receiving is fun!!:)
19. What is your favorite Christmas Song? Carol of the Bells by Mannheim Steamroller and ***Silent night***

20. Candy Canes! Yuck or Yum? ---not really ...the only one i can eat is a cherry flavour

19. What is your favorite Christmas Song? --- Ну если из английских то "It's Chrstmas" Modern Talking - ниче так, а из русских хз названия, но есть несколько неплохих про НГ, естественно

Да уж. Разлагающее влияние на тебя католическая доктрина оказывает. Для меня Кристмас - это просто выходной день, ничем кроме времени года, не отличающийся от BC Day

Mistletoe (Phoradendron flavescens or Viscum album) is a parasitic plant that grows on trees, particularly hardwood trees like oak and apple. A parasite is a plant or animal that needs another plant or animal to survive. As mistletoe grows on a tree, it sends out its roots right into the tree's bark and takes nutrients from the tree. Sometimes, mistletoe can harm a tree and cause deformities in a tree's branches, but usually it doesn't kill its host. If the host dies, the mistletoe dies.



Mistletoe is also said to be a sexual symbol, because of the consistency and color of the berry juice. The tradition of kissing under the mistletoe could have come from either the Viking association of the plant with Frigga, the goddess of love, or from the ancient belief that mistletoe was related to fertility.

The correct mistletoe etiquette is for the man to remove one berry when he kisses a woman. When all the berries are gone, there is no more kissing underneath that plant. It is believed that an unmarried woman not kissed under the mistletoe will remain single for another year.

7. Favorite Holiday memorys a child ?--- Много разных. Например, мама у нас в коммнате развешивала светящуюся гирлянду из разноцветных пластмассовых ракет, планет, сатурнов вяких с колечками. Когда выключаехсь свет было очень круто - как в космосе :D

Помню, что они перешли в уверенность, когда под конец одного новогоднего праздника мама подруги сесты налила Деду Морозу стакан вина и сказала "На, Паша", а тот отодвинул бороду и выпил. Чтозанах?? Поотм меня родители зухе не смоги убедить, что де дмороз существует
